Oze Energy is an Australian company that makes clean, green Australian energy for Australians by Australians.

Utilising market leading technology, Oze Energy utilises biomass waste and Municipal Separated Waste (MSW) to produce energy that can be used to power everything from Australian homes and businesses to the current and future fuels in our cars and transport systems.

The world faces two critical challenges when it comes to global warming – having enough food to feed 9 billion people and the need to reach net zero carbon by 2050. With our zero waste processing capabilities, Oze Energy differs from other processing technologies as it is can utilise and monetise 100% of waste produced by Australian farmers and local councils, including FOGO, MSW and biomass.

Australia has committed to net zero carbon by 2050 but at Oze Energy we believe Australia can hit this target sooner - not by building one or two large energy export plants, but by creating hundreds of smaller, more efficient plants around the country that can deliver our energy requirements now. Essentially, we can create clean, green energy today using the waste we produce today.

Defugo

Game Changing Technology

Defugo Technologies (Defugo) and their technology partners, have developed a proprietary, patent-protected, zero waste, clean energy system for the cost-effective conversion of a wide variety of biomass feedstocks and Municipal solid waste (MSW) into either:

  • ASTM-approved renewable diesel
  • A1 Avgas
  • E10 Ethanol
  • Low-cost hydrogen
  • Distributed or central-station electrical power.

The Defugo process will efficiently convert a high hydrogen synthesis gas to renewable diesel without using the Fischer-Tropsch process, catalysts or fermentation. This represents a major technological breakthrough.
